Excursion to Nelson Bay and Port Stephens

This coastal resort area 60 minutes north of Sydney offers fun attractions for the entire family, like speedboat rides, dune buggy trips, scuba diving, and jet skiing.

This picture of Nelson Bay was taken atop a high lookout point. The hazy, rainy day created a cool, misty atmosphere.
The 11 visitors (photo taken at the lookout point) occupied two vans and two cottages for the night.

The sand dune trip was occasionally filled with rough winds and drizzles.

After all that excitement, the kids swim and have lunch at the poolside.
