McGregor Point is an Ontario provincial park along Lake Huron, rich in trails, birds, butterflies, and great views of the lake.

Port Elgin

This town and its beaches of clear water are adjacent to the park. 

Every summer evening, a bagpipe player serenades the sun as it sets on this town. 

Cargill is a place inland that is almost the same distance away from many of the Lake Huron towns, like Port Elgin, Kincardine. 

We stayed the night here at the Cornerbrook Farms, the pleasant and very inexpensive bed and breakfast place of Elaine & John Moffatt.
