Nimes

Nimes is a city that has managed to preserve many buildings dating back from the Roman era.

Maison Carre

The Roman amphitheater

Arles
Arles used to be a military base for the Romans because of its close position to the Mediterranean. Unlike Nimes, the ancient buildings have not been preserved.
