Burgos

 


Outside Burgos, large plains of wheat were being burned for fertilization, creating the smog that clouded this sunset.
The Burgos cathedral is an example of florid             Gothic style of architecture. The bones of the 11th-century hero "El Cid" are rested in this church.

Many of the alleys and streets surrounding the church are cobblestone paths. There is a nice riverside park nearby.
