Rocamadour Continuing further southwest from Clermont Ferrand and Puy De Dome, we stopped briefly at St. Angels to visit its abbey. Then we settled at Rocamadour in the Dordogne region. This tiny village hangs on the cliffside of a beautiful valley.

St. Angels This is a quiet, tiny town with an ancient abbey on a hill, just  along the drive from Puy De Dome towards Rocamadour.

We arrived just in time for the hot air balloon festival  while sipping beer and cappucino at the  cafe of the Hotel St. Marie.
