Vienna

Wien, the capital of Austria, must have been where the wiener (another name for hot dog) originated. We figured this out from other food-originating cities: Frankfurt and Hamburg.

Due to our late departure from Prague, we arrived at Vienna past midnight. A good sleep in a cozy bed and a good breakfast, courtesy of our hosts at Haus AM Wiesengrund, renewed our energy to let us enjoy Vienna's sites the rest of the day.

This is a city rich in sculpture. There are gigantic statues everywhere you look!
